Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. The tool runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. Your files are read from your device, processed in memory and saved straight back to it. They are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone.

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

There is no fixed number. Each file can be up to 100 MB and a single job up to 250 MB in total, which covers thousands of pages. The limit exists only to stay within your browser’s memory.

Will merging reduce the quality of my PDF?

No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Not yet. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then merge the unlocked copy.

Are bookmarks and form fields kept when merging?

Page content, text and images are kept exactly, but bookmarks and fillable form fields from the original files aren’t carried into the merged PDF. Fill in forms before merging.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. Because all the work happens on your own device, there are no servers to pay for.
