Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The tool runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. Your files are read from your device, processed in memory and saved straight back to it. They are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone.
How do I write page ranges?
Separate pages and ranges with commas. “1-3” means pages 1 to 3, “5” is just page 5, “8-” runs from page 8 to the end and “-4” runs from the first page to page 4.
Can I split every page into its own PDF?
Yes. Choose “Every page” and you’ll get a ZIP file with one single-page PDF for each page of the document.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. Because all the work happens on your own device, there are no servers to pay for.
